Lesson plans that cater to all children
I set clear lesson plans to ensure every child’s ability is catered for. Lessons include visual, logical, verbal, aural and physical activities and tasks. Each session includes singing, music, story-telling, games and art to meet the needs of all learner styles.
Each month has a focus theme for the children to develop competency in the language. Every child commences with a basic introduction that teaches core phrases and basic words which will be reinforced in future classes.
Choose the French class option that suits your child best!
The lessons are designed to involve children using all their senses resulting in forming stronger memories.
In a fun method of teaching hands-on activities, action chants, songs, stories and games that keep children interested and engaged.
French comes to Children
30 min French Class held at your child’s Childcare Service or After School Care.
The classes are $15 per session and per child or invoiced for 5 classes/child at a time at the total cost of $70.
Maximum 10 children per class.
Time and day of the service organised within your childcare centre.
Small learning group
3 classes held every Tuesday and Wednesday from 4 pm to 5 pm.
The classes are $35 per hour and per child.
Maximum 7 children per class.
Classes are taught at the business residence, contact us to get the details.
Come along 15 minutes before your child’s class session and enjoy meeting with other parents and updates about your child’s achievements.
One on One tutoring
Supporting struggling students to keep up with their lessons or to stimulate the children’s minds is why Tutors are always in demand. A number of parents and teachers increase lessons when realizing that tuition gets to the core of learning, individualizing the meaning and instruction of the subject at hand. With all the diversion in today’s hyper-technological world, some face-to-face connection through mentoring, tutoring and coaching is exactly what students need most.
Professional maturity, communication, confidence, hard-working and partnership are reliable characteristics that make a successful Tutor. Accumulating these skills over ten years work experience enables me to turn high quality teaching into project-based activities and provide opportunities for real, hands-on work that creates relevant learning during tutoring sessions.
Individual tutoring class is $45 per hour per child.
Classes are held every day, before and after classes. Email to Odile to arrange and book a time.
Classes can be taught at the business residence or at your home.
Childcare and Vacancy Care
My incursion lesson is where I deliver the lessons at your Childcare Centre or Vacancy Care. I work side-by-side with the Director and Educators to ensure I seamlessly integrate with the Centre.
It is well known that there are important and huge psychological advantages of learning another language to children as young as two year old. Research indicates that the more the brain is used, the better it strengthens memory. Also, Multilanguage people show to be more critical-thinkers.

My name is Odile Barthélemy, I was born in France and moved to Australia over 15 years ago. My passion for caring and supporting children’s learning started when I taught my son and daughter their native language ‘English’ and their mother tongue ‘French’.
